Sagebrush Academy of Leader Training (SALT) is an intensive development program to prepare participants for vocational and nonvocational ministry. SALT focuses on key components that are designed to help every participant develop as an individual, a minister and a leader. By investing in your leadership through SALT, your love and knowledge of Jesus Christ will grow in amazing ways.
Pastors and ministry veterans will teach sound doctrine and practical ministry providing students with a greater Christian biblical worldview and understanding of the Bible.
There is a significant amount of reading, research, and personal study time required to successfully complete SALT. We encourage students to take one class and focus on what God is teaching them through that study.

Overview: One of the most important things for a Christian to understand is the doctrines found systematically within the Bible. In this course, you will spend time exploring the core areas of basic Christian theology such as the Holy Spirit, the purpose of the church, biblical marriage, end times, and much more. This course will provide participants with a foundation of key beliefs of the historic Christian faith.

Overview: Our Spiritual Conflict course is designed to educate you on the spiritual battles spoken about in Ephesians 6. This course will help each student to be more aware of the spirit world and the battle that goes on in the heavenly realms. You will spend time exploring defenses for spiritual attacks and strategies that the opposing force uses to keep you from being a fully devoted follower of Christ.

Ministry Fundamentals
Overview: You’ve probably heard that no two humans are alike. We each have a unique personality mix, natural abilities, supernatural abilities (also known as spiritual gifts), and a passion for certain things. God wired every single one of us with a leadership DNA so we could fulfill a unique plan that He designed just for us. This course is designed to help students discover and understand the multiple spheres of a leader’s physical, spiritual and intellectual makeup and identify their own unique gifts, abilities, personality, and leadership style. They will also learn how to relate to others in a leadership setting based on how God has wired them as individual leaders.

Although the school is not currently accredited, the courses provided are on par with many Bible college programs around the country.
Students will need to plan for a time commitment of around 2 hours per week per course. This includes time for watching online classes and personal study.
Students of SALT will be responsible to cover the $15 charge per course for the semester. Most courses will also have book costs associated with the specific course.
A believer who is looking to strengthen their spiritual walk and has the time and personal discipline needed to complete college-level classes online. They should be someone who either attends a Sagebrush campus or is dedicated to watching services online.
